Dollars For Degas: An AIGA DC Party to Benefit New Community Artspace

Replace those winter blues with a few other hues at Dollars For Degas, an AIGA DC post-holiday holiday party in benefit of New Community Artspace. Think of it as a Schmoozeday with a Peggy Guggenheim twist. Register now and join us at the reception and silent auction featuring works of art representing a variety of media including painting, photography, jewelry, printmaking, and textiles.

In addition, a number of goods and services will be auctioned. Among them are Nationals tickets, Mac tech services, a chair in a letterpress workshop, and a custom cake from Cakelove.

New Community Artspace is a community organization based in DC’s Shaw neighborhood, dedicated to engage youths and adults in volunteer-led workshops and community-based projects. Space is limited, please register online for free! Online registration closes at 12:00 AM, February 2nd. There will be limited space at the door.

We’ll be accepting a suggested donation of $5 at the door, which gets you a raffle ticket for a prize. Light refreshments (provided by Scion Restaurant) and drinks for donations will be provided.

The silent auction will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. We wouldn't want you to miss out on any opportunities (hint hint), so please arrive on time! And when the bidding is closed, that doesn't mean the party is over! Join us down the street at Scion (2100 P Street NW)  for after hours specials on drinks.
