About AIGA 50
AIGA 50 is a biennial juried exhibition that showcases 50 of the strongest examples of design produced in our region during the past two years. Our panel of judges, experts in communication arts and design, evaluated work from print, narrative, and interactive media.

About Derek Smith
A multi-national business leader with decades of service to the papermaking, converting, and printing communities, Derek Smith founded a consulting business which teaches non- and for-profit organizations how to align their aspirations for social responsibility with their need to be fiscally viable.

Smith has been a consultant to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and Metafore, as well as Fortune 500 corporations and other leading paper, printing and design groups, helping them identify the business opportunities that exist in environmental reform.
