John Foster

John Foster is Vice President, Creative, at Alexandria, VA based Fuszion. He is a frequent speaker on design and education issues and has appeared around the world, including the 2004, 2005 and upcoming 2008 HOW Design Conferences. His work has received international acclaim and has been featured in all the major publications. John is also the recipient of a gold and silver medal from the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington as well as a Best of Show from the ADDYs. He is the author of New Masters of Poster Design, for Rockport Publishers, as well as Maximum Page Design for HOW Design Books and will have two new books coming out in 2008. He resides with his charming and beautiful wife and daughter and the world’s goofiest foxhounds.

Leon Lawrence III

Leon Lawrence III is design director of USA Weekend magazine, a Gannett publication with circulation of 23 million. He is the former art director of Emerge magazine, a BET publication. Prior to Emerge Leon spent 10 years with RCW Communication Design Inc, a Washington DC area design studio. Leon has worked in the field of graphic design for 18 years and has received recognition for his work in Communication Arts magazine, Print magazine, Art Directors Club of New York, Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington, Graphic Design USA, Society of Publication Designers, National Association of Black Journalists and others. Leon holds a BFA degree with an emphasis on graphic design from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Pum Lefebure

Pum Lefebure is a co-founder and creative director at Design Army in Washington, DC. Not only does she oversee all creative coming through the firm's doors, she's responsible for setting the creative vision behind each high-profile campaign. Pum keeps the design team challenged by pushing and inspiring them to do creatively original work. As a result there are countless award-winning projects born inside Design Army's studio every day. Pum has guided the design and development of many award-winning projects for an array of clients. Her guidance hasn't gone unrecognized: Since opening in fall of 2003, Design Army’s work has been featured in Communication Arts, Graphis, HOW, Print, STEP, Novum, Coupe and Art4D and has garnered a multitude of industry awards, including ADDY, AIGA50, AR100, TDC, The Mohawk Show and The One Show.
